How much does a website cost?

We price websites based on each client’s unique needs. Our starting price is $3,500. There are a lot of factors that will determine the cost of your website which includes:

  • Number of pages
  • Functionality needs such as ecommerce, forms, translation, live chat, price calculators, unique navigation, etc.
  • Custom designed graphics
  • Logo design or edits (if needed)
  • Number of products (if ecommerce)
  • Amount of content that needs to be written
  • The amount of search engine optimization work that is required to make sure your website can be found on the Internet
How do I know if I will like the design you come up with?

To start with, take a look at our portfolio to see some of our previous website designs. After we get started, we ask if you have any other websites you like to get an understanding of your preferred design style and features that are important to you. If needed, we can also recommend a few websites of various styles for you to look at. We will then design your homepage and one other page in our graphic design software so you can review and request changes before it goes up on the Internet. This makes editing quick and easy to get the exact look you desire.

How quickly can you get my website done?

Our preferred timeframe is 2 – 3 weeks from beginning to end. We do our best to work on big projects like this, one at a time so we can dedicate all of our resources and get it done as quickly as possible. However if we have other client projects going on simultaneously, we will let you know upfront so you know what to expect for timing. Other factors that may delay the completion of your website is your timeframe for reviewing our work, if you need to get any professional photography done, or if there are other items you need to provide that will take time.

Are there any costs for my website after it’s completed?

The cost of your website once it’s completed is minimal but includes the following:

  • Security maintenance – $39 per month
  • Web hosting – $50 – $80 per year
  • Domain – $10 – $30 pear year
  • Content updates – Based on time and charged at an hourly rate
Can I make edits to my website once it’s completed?

We design our websites using WordPress which is fairly easy to navigate if given proper training. We are happy to provide training to you or one of your employees. However, it’s important to note that if you or your employee is not using WordPress on a regular basis, it might be difficult to remember everything from the training. So if minor edits are needed on occasion, it’s may be more cost effective for you to hire us.

Who owns the copyright of my website?

You own your copyright once final payment has been made. I’ve had many clients tell me their previous website copyright was owned by their former website designer and they have no rights to content, images, videos, etc. We do not think this is an honest way to do business and believe the copyright should be owned by the business that paid for it. Just as if you paid a contractor to build a fence in your backyard, the fence doesn’t belong to the contractor when he is finished! We have a simple contract that includes information about who owns the copyright so you can rest assured you’re actually getting what you paid for. We just ask that you allow us to display the final product in our portfolio.
